(November 2023) NMHIM is excited to announce our capital campaign building fund. As the only museum of its kind in NM, our mission is to use the lessons and personal stories of the Holocaust, other genocides, racism, and all forms of discrimination to empower and inspire our youth and adults to be upstanders.
The space we currently occupy on Central Avenue in Albuquerque is too small and simply not safe; it is imperative that we move. We are currently working on an interim space we can occupy as we work toward building a permanent location.
Your contributions will be used exclusively for a future stand-alone building, not for any expenses related to the interim space.
With help from the City of Albuquerque, NM state legislators, grants, and generous donations from supporters like you, we are now in the process of transforming a small but powerful museum with limited exhibit space and programming to a major New Mexico museum.
