Collections

The New Mexico Holocaust & Intolerance Museum collections contain objects, photographs, documents, and ephemera essential to our mission. They are the backbone of our exhibits and educational programs and give meaning and context to the personal stories of those whose lives have been shaped by genocide, particularly the Holocaust.

A portion of our objects, photos, and archives catalog has been digitized and made available through an online, searchable database. This process is ongoing and new items will be added over time.

Our Silvian Library & Study Center catalog is also searchable. The Silvian Library is a non-circulating library; however, our library materials are accessible for in-house research and study.

You can help us update our collections database. Our community is a crucial source of information about our collections. Do you recognize someone in a photograph? Can you add to our knowledge about an item you’ve seen? Have we made a mistake of any kind? We want to hear from you. To contribute, click on the “Send us Feedback” button on any catalog record.

If you have information to share, questions for us, or to schedule an appointment to access our collections or library, please send a detailed email to collections@nmholocaustmuseum.org or call us during regular business hours at 505.247.0606.
