Hiddekel Sara Burks, an Albuquerque resident and promoter for more than 45 years of “Art and History of Braiding” will be featured in the museum starting Thursday, June 3, 2021 during regular hours (Wednesday – Saturday, noon to 3 p.m.). It is estimated that she will set the record during the month of July.

Now through November 13, visit the Loma Colorado Library in Rio Rancho to see “Americans and the Holocaust,” a traveling exhibition from the U.S Holocaust Memorial Museum that examines the motives, pressures and fears that shaped Americans’ responses to Nazism, war, and genocide in Europe

The magazine has included a section on Albuquerque resident Hiddekel Sara Burks’ attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for braiding yarn, which has been featured at the museum for the past few months.
