In-School Programs

Let us bring the New Mexico Holocaust & Intolerance Museum to your classroom or organization.

We recommend classroom visits for children 12 and older (grade six or above). Read about our current options and fill out the form below to request a visit. Please note: we are a small staff with limited capabilities. We will do our best to fulfill your request.

Bring a Holocaust Survivor to your Classroom

Experience a personal story of the Holocaust, told by either a survivor or survivor-descendant. Visits can be made in person or over Zoom. Presentations last between 45 and 90 minutes and can be adapted for class times.

Mini-Exhibit Activity

Museum professionals will visit your class over one or two class periods and guide your students through the process of creating museum exhibits from start to finish. Students will work with the artifacts and reproductions in our archives and gain hands-on knowledge in working with primary sources.

This approximately one-hour lecture, developed by museum staff, will cover the fundamentals of Holocaust history.
