MEDIA RELEASE – Well known speakers slated to appear in Albuquerque

Two internationally recognized presenters will be in Albuquerque this fall sponsored by the New Mexico Holocaust & Intolerance Museum and the Jewish Community Center of Greater Albuquerque (JCC).

On October 27th, Bob Garfield, an American journalist, will present The Conundrum of Jewish Identity, a comedic analysis of the current political environment. Bob is the former host of WNYC’s On the Media, correspondent for NPR’s All Things Considered, and founder of both The Genius Dialogues and Lexicon Valley podcasts.

On November 17th, Aimee Ginsburg Bikel will present Theodore Bikel’s Centennial Program, a celebration of her husband’s life and career. Aimee Ginsburg Bikel is an award-winning journalist, author, poet, and speaker who has been published worldwide. She has lived in the US, Israel, and India as the Indian correspondent for Israel’s largest newspaper outlet.

Each event will take place at the JCC, 5520 Wyoming Boulevard NE, from 2 to 4 p.m. General admission is $35 while student tickets are $17. Registration is required.
